How are You Recharging this Summer?

I think we can all agree that the past two academic years have been anything other than normal. We all love what we do, but let’s be honest - we were counting down the days until we could be at home with our families. It is time to recharge and get ready to do it all over again (unless you retired this year - then congratulations!).

Some things that are suggested to help you recharge are:

  • Exercising - find a physical activity that you enjoy and do it for at least 30 minutes each day.

  • Traveling - be sure to check tourism websites and airlines for deals!

  • Gardening - research which flowers and vegetables can be planted for the temperatures in your area and start planting. No garden? No problem! Many flowers and vegetables can be planted in pots; even on your patio!

  • Music - follow your favorite artists on social media and look for concerts in your area; if there aren’t any in your area, take a road trip!

  • Absolutely nothing - relax and take lots of naps.
